La Rochelle is a fantastic town to see for a vacation. The beauty of La Rochelle could be that the centre of town sits on the harbour. The harbour is beautiful, stuffed with yachts and boats as well as the entrance is guarded by two old stone towers. The Tour St Nicolas (Saint Nicolas Tower) is 42 meters high and appears similar to a small castle sat around the water. It is a fantastic garden possesses many plants I could truthfully only dream about growing within a greenhouse regardless that I live further south in France than La Rochelle. The museum will be worth a visit too!
