According to brand-new guidelines set by GU, students appearing for the entrance exams is definately not allowed to answer nature's telephone during first one-and-half hour with the test. Dr Parimal Trivedi, vice-chancellor, GU, has introduced this rule to take care of transparency and avoid instances of cheating during exams.
Under this rule, candidates will also have to be quick with their own 'toilet duties' after primary one-and-half hour as merely one student from a block will be allowed to use the washroom at any given time.me.
"Candidates will be examined strictly when are back in your hall. We have discover these guidelines after experiencing complaints of students exchanging notes when inside toilet, " said Trivedi.
Entrance exams for PG programs in medicine, dentistry, birkenstock, physiotherapy and optometry are going to be held on January 29, said Trivedi. He has allotted 12 centres and 65 blocks for the examination to reduce cheating opportunities which were rampant when the tests were conducted at only one centre.
"All centres will have CCTV cameras to maintain watch on students. Mobile phones are also banned at the centre.
