A body's electric charge alters
the space which surrounds it. The magnitude which measures this
alteration at a determined point is the intensity
of the electric field at this point. It is
defined as the force exerted on the unit of positive charge situated at
this point. In the following visual you have a blue moving point; you
will imagine that it has a charge of 1 Coulomb when you have created an
electric field around it. |
