There is a mathematical function
associated with every particle which behaves like the functions of
other
undulatory phenomena. We call it the wave function and the
values of all the magnitudes which we can measure in the particle
depend on it. Its square gives us the probability of finding a particle
at a particular point, at a certain instant. |
